Welcome to Stays on Stephanie! We’re so glad you chose to stay with us.

The name comes from the home’s address on Stephanie Street in Padstow. It reflects my vision of creating a welcoming, thoughtfully styled place where guests can settle in and feel at home. In this welcome book you will find everything you need to know about the house and our favourite local spots.

Free parking for 4 cars in front of the house and along the driveway, with room for a boat or trailer. Street parking is also available. Parking is for guests only. The garage and shed are not for guest use.

Stays on Stephanie is dog-friendly, by approval. Please tell us before you book or arrive if you plan to bring a dog, and read the rules below.

• Dogs only (no cats), up to 3 dogs, any size. We need to know the breed, age and type of pet.
• A pet fee of $25 per pet per night applies.
• Dogs can be inside and outside, but never on beds or furniture. Any damage or extra cleaning will result in further charges.
• The yard is fully fenced.
• Please pick up all droppings, bag them and put them in the bin, including from the backyard, before you leave.
• Pets must not cause danger, damage, nuisance, noise or a health hazard, and cannot be left alone in the house.
• You are responsible for any mess or damage your pet causes, or injury to another person.
• If you arrive with a pet without prior permission, you will be asked to leave without any refund.

Stays on Stephanie is a single-storey, 3-bedroom home that sleeps up to 10, with open-plan living and a sunroom.

• Bedrooms: 3 bedrooms, each with a robe. Bedroom doors can be locked.
• Sunroom: a single sofa bed and a queen bed.

Bathrooms: a two-way full bathroom with shower and bath, a second full bathroom with a shower that is combined with the laundry, and a separate toilet.

Linen and towels: every bed is made up with a bottom sheet, top sheet, quilt cover and pillow slips. Each guest gets a bath towel and a beach towel, plus a second towel for the pool, spa or beach, hand towels and face washers. Extra pillows and blankets and small fans are in the robes. Hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hand soap are provided, and spare supplies are in the drawers.

A modern galley-style kitchen with an integrated dishwasher and induction cooktop.

• Appliances: French-door fridge with water dispenser, freezer, induction cooktop, single oven, microwave, integrated dishwasher, blender, digital toaster and digital stainless steel kettle.
• Cookware: pots, pans, baking trays, dishes, cutlery, utensils, wine glasses and BBQ utensils. Pantry basics are provided.
• Coffee: coffee is supplied.
• Dining: a 2.4 m marble dining table with bench seat in the dining room, which seats 8 with the kitchen island and butler’s pantry.
• Children’s dinnerware is available. A highchair is available on request.

Please load and start the dishwasher before you leave.

• Living room: open-plan living with seating for 8 on modern furniture, a gas fireplace and a 65" TCL smart TV. Netflix is signed in, and other streaming apps are available.
• Home theatre and music: a home theatre set-up and a stereo.
• Games: board games, giant games, video games, books and toys, and a themed room.
• Smart home: the house has a robot vacuum, a Zigbee smart-home system and a remote garage door. The house manual notes folder is above the range hood.

• Alfresco: a covered alfresco area with a built-in banquette, outdoor dining, a built-in BBQ and a veranda.
• Yard: a big, flat, fully fenced grassy yard, about 25 m x 10 m, with room for soccer and other games, a children’s bike (medium) and a fire pit. There is no charge for firewood.
• Beach gear: chairs, towels and an umbrella are provided.
• Nearby: a walk to Illawong playground and park.

• Heating and cooling: ducted reverse-cycle air conditioning through the whole house, plus a gas fireplace.
• Wi-Fi: the network is Padstow 1. The password is in your private manual once your booking is confirmed. The modem is in the cupboard under the staircase. If you need to restart it, switch it off at the wall, wait 30 seconds and switch it back on.
• Laundry: a washing machine and dryer. A clothes drying rack is out the back yard and on the back deck, and there is a clothesline.
• Iron and board: in the tall cupboard in the butler’s pantry.
• Cleaning gear and spare supplies: under the sink in the butler’s pantry. The robot vacuum lives under the staircase.

• For little ones: a baby gate, baby bath, baby monitor, changing table, portable cot and highchair are available on request. Window guards are fitted. Babysitter recommendations and childcare are available.
• Luggage: you are welcome to drop your bags off early.
• Mid-stay clean: available for longer stays.
• Breakfast: a simple breakfast pack (noodles, cereal, eggs, cheese, toast and jams) from $65. Request it before you arrive.
• Chauffeur: a luxury van can be arranged for up to 6 passengers for beach and city drop-offs. Rides within 20 km are free for up to 2 rides per stay. Extra rides are available on request and extra costs may apply.
• On call: Mel or Dickson.
• Late check-in or check-out: ask us and we will confirm if it is possible.

Inside, general waste is under the kitchen island and recycling is in the second bin by the sink. Empty them into the big bins at the front porch. The outside bins are kept down the side of the foyer and front porch.

• Bin day: Sunday.
• Red bin: every week. Yellow and green bins: they take turns each week.
• Bin night: Saturday evening. Wheel the bins to the kerb onto the road.

• Check-in from 3:00 pm, check-out by 10:00 am.
• Guests: up to 10 in total, children and infants welcome. The booking guest must be 18 or over.
• Quiet hours: 10 pm to 8 am.
• No smoking or vaping anywhere on the property.
• No parties or events.
• Visitors: only the guests on your booking may stay.
• Pets: dogs only, up to 3, see the pets card.
• Cameras and sensors: there are outdoor security cameras (outside only, never inside) and a noise monitor that measures noise level only, with no audio.
